Stop Asian Hate Posters I am Gosei (五世), or fifth-generation Japanese American, on both sides of my family. Throughout my family history and my own personal life, incidents of racism and hate crimes have impacted me and my family. From Japanese internment camps to COVID-19 Asian hate, my family has constantly had to remind people that 'We are Americans.' This statement is one my family has had to say for all five generations we have been in the United States. These posters reflect the dehumanizing treatment of Asian Americans throughout history and in the present day.
